In Planning is the online platform for high standard publications on spatial planning. The aim is to create a user friendly international platform that provides an overview of everything that is going on in the world of spatial planning. Whether you are a student, academic, professional or otherwise interested in planning subjects, In Planning is where you can find e-books, e-journals, video lectures, games and other publications about spatial planning. In English or in your own languag as each country can publish their own material.

The development of the In Planning platform is originally funded by the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP) and by individual country-related planning schools. Today it is backed by the universities of Groningen, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Nijmegen, Wageningen and Ghent (Belgium).

High Standard

InPlanning aims to support Schools in Spatial Planning with sharing both local and global information. InPlanning is addressing generic debates and specific activities. The Editorial board assures a high (academic) standard.

Open access or competitively priced

In Planning publications are Open access, so free of charge, or competitively priced, depending on the author's demands. It is also possible to publish books in print as well. For instance, all our PHD publications are both digital and in print.

Initiative

In Planning was originally an initiative of the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP) and the Spatial Planning department of the University of Groningen. Today it is backed by the universities of Groningen, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Nijmegen, Wageningen and Ghent (Belgium).
